Culture is something we celebrate and hold dear as a continent but some of it has negative effects on the community. Some of the widows and orphans, who are part of the rush community were kicked out of their homes with nowhere to turn to. They were denied of their rights to basic needs. As an organisation, we often contribute money, buy a piece of land and we all help in building homes for individuals who have been left homeless. Over the years, we have been able to relocate, build and establish many widows and orphans in various places both within and outside the county.
